Versatility, My Forte Not

I’m not the most versatile person around, but I am honoured to have received the Versatile Blogger Award from Erin at Analyfe and Tien at Tien Unscripted.  Apparently there are several guidelines I should abide by after accepting the award bestowed upon me:

• Thank the person who awarded you and link to his/her blog
• Tell 7 random facts about yourself
• Pass the award to 15 new-found bloggers
• Contact each blogger you want to pass the award on to, and let them know you’ve done so, and let the giver of your award know you accept it… or not.

Thank you Erin and Tien, for your generosity and recognition of my blog.  I love BOTH of your writing and reading about your take on life in general so please blog more often!

And so, here are 7 random facts about myself:

1. I like Super Junior, a 13-member Korean boy band when they first started out but is now decimated to 10 active members.
2. I buy clothes and shoes out of necessity more than anything else.  My weakness lies with bags, and I inherited this from my mum.
3. I am equally comfortable with both the arts and the sciences; I think I use my left and right brains quite equally.
4. I have small hands and small feet – inherited from my mum too.
5. Untidy wiring is my pet peeve.  I will go to great lengths to neaten the wires with cable ties, be it in the office or at home.
6. I have a keen sense of hearing, probably to compensate my poor sense of smell due to constant sinus.  Some sounds really disturb me and make my hair stand especially metal chairs being dragged across the floors and scissoring.
7. I can crotchet and knit.  And I love working on jigsaw puzzles and cross-stitch designs.

Coming up with 15 blogs is a lot harder than I imagined it would be.  There are blogs I enjoy reading on a daily basis (or whenever they are updated), but many of them have been found through Freshly Pressed.  And the last thing I want is to be known as the one who is trying to cash in on their blogs’ popularity.

Stop it Genn, stop all this negativity.  It’s good to know more bloggers.  This is supposed to be fun, not stressful, silly.

I should take comfort in the thought that, in the very least, I have introduced 7 of my favourite blogs to share with the world.
